This month is Suicide prevention month. Make sure you are checking in daily with your students, not only on tasks and practice they need to be successful, but also on their mental health and emotions as well. Adjusting back to a school routine can be really hard for some of our kiddos and making sure they know they are safe, loved and cared for are key to keeping them well adjusted.

What to look for this month:

The Lion's club will be coming to do photo vision screenings for all preK-6th grade on September 21st, make sure if your students wear glasses or contacts they have them on that day so that you don’t get any false readings and referrals you don’t need.

The nurse will also be doing hearing and vision screenings on all PreK, Kindergarten, 1st, 3rd, 5th, and 7th graders. Once completed I will send results home.
