This is my fourth year teaching at Petrolia High School. I am teaching English I and III, as well as 7^th grade writing. In addition to teaching, I will also be in charge of NHS, One Act Play, and FCA. 

I started teaching at Kirby Middle School in Wichita Falls after graduating with my bachelors. I had the unique opportunity to follow my same group of students from 6^th grade at Kirby to 9^th grade at Hirschi High School. I taught and coached at Hirschi one year before taking the job in Petrolia. It’s so good to be home! 

I am married to my high school sweetheart, Zach. We married on May 24, 2013. We had our first child, a son, Camden Wheeler 7-12-2021.  We also have 3 dogs and one crazy cat. We love to travel and have been to some really neat places including Alaska and St. Kittis in the Carribean. 

Zach and I lead worship and serve at our church, Byers Assembly in Byers, TX! I also run a photography business called Beautiful Things. We love the arts as well as sports! On Sundays, after church, we are almost always watching football! Go Cowboys!
